Dadra Taal is a Hindustani classical music rhythm structure that consists of 6 beats. It is the most common and popular taal in North India and is used in light classical music and folk music. It is usually played on the tabla or other percussion instruments. The cycle begins and ends with two equal units, known as "Tihai"
Taal structure :
This taal has 6 beats and It has 2 divisions and 3 beats in each division. the 1st division has 1 clap and the second division has 1 wave. The 1st beat of rhythm is called "Sam" which is placed in 1st clap.

The notation of the taal is written according to the Bhath khande Swarlipi method.

Tempo:Dadra Taal is played in different types of tempos. such as slow, medium, and fast tempo.
